Beauty Refinery NYC are truly an amazing team! I’m not traditionally a woman who wears make up and does my hair on a consistent basis. Kristen and her team helped me get comfortable and truly feel beautiful. The girls also managed to get 13 women taken care of and met all their individual taste! Also it should be specially noted that my aunt is recovering from Chemo, is new to wearing a wig and the team went above and beyond to help her feel beautiful for our wedding! Thank you thank you! Thank you for an amazing job you did. Kristen was the best! I was able to book them a few weeks before my wedding for a very reasonable price. Kristen was very nice on the phone and at the day they arrived on time and did an amazing job. My makeup lasted all day without even touching it. My hair was exactly what I wanted and also lasted all day. I cannot thank you enough for a wonderful job and making my day beautiful and special!

Not only did Kristen and her team make me and my bridesmaids look stunning on the day of my wedding, but Kristen was also the steady calm presence every bride needs on the morning of her big day. Kristen made the entire process start to finish seamless. I would hire her again in a heartbeat!

I cannot recommend Beauty Refinery enough!! These women were fabulous to work with from start to finish. I knew I picked the right team when during my trial they looked at my amateur skin care routine and gave me customized recommendations. My skin has never looked better since I took their tips. On the wedding day, they did great work. We were ahead of schedule … you heard that right. They were so calm and kind. My girls loved them!! With the extra time, they did touch ups on everyone — even my friends who opted not pay for the service. And don’t get me started on all the free samples and day of essentials. They were so generous. I LOVED how my hair and makeup turned out.

After weeks of searching for stylists who would accommodate services for just a bride, the clouds parted, and I somehow lucked out and found Ivy and Kristen. From the very first consultation call, I knew my bridal look was in great hands. They carefully listened to my meandering ideas and inspiration and offered suggestions I would never have thought of. On my wedding day, I didn't look like "myself but better" - I looked like my best self! I was nervous about being a more mature bride, but working with Kristen and Ivy made me feel like a 20-year-old getting ready with friends! After our first trail, I wanted to make some changes. Without hesitation, they said, "no problem!" and gave me exactly what I didn't know I wanted! The team's final product would have been enough to elicit a 5-star review, but the special little details make me wish I could give 6. From a face massage to eye patches, to a little 'emergency kit' gift, even just having my hair combed made me feel pampered and special! I cannot recommend this team enough for your special day. Or a special event. Or if you just want to get beautified with some great company, Beauty Refinery is a MUST!!!

The Beauty Refinery NYC did my makeup for my wedding in Lisbon, Portugal. We did trials in Danbury, Connecticut and I just knew I’d feel comfortable with them and that I’d look amazing. I hired Ivy for a photo shoot- I’m an actress and needed new headshots. Honestly, she was amazing. She arrived early and was set up and ready to start by our appt time! She made me feel so relaxed and comfortable during the entire process. And she really listened to the look I was going for and ensured that I was happy with the results! Nothing but great words for this team! Kristen was so helpful in talking with me about the makeup and hair look I was going for and made sure to try different looks during my trial to ensure we got it exactly right. Ivy was absolutely wonderful. Super attentive to what I wanted, made me so comfortable and relaxed and did an amazing job! She used top quality makeup- only the best which I really liked. I asked her to give me tips on what she was doing and using so I could know for future reference and she was more than happy to do that for me. She even recommended some awesome products too.
